Our shipping charges are based upon the published rates USPS provides. The bags the coffee are in do have weight as do the box that encloses the shipment, so “a pound” will actually weight more than 16 oz. to ship — the cart is programmed to factor these conditions.
We can add other shipper rates as appropriate, our cart options can grow or scale as needed.
Also remember than any order of $100 or more is free shipping (based on USA destinations; to Canada/Mexico an order of $250 qualifies for free shipping; to Japan and other international destinations an order of $400 qualifies for free shipping).
Also, if you want regular delivery of coffee, our Coffee Clubs are a great value — you order once and receive regular shipments — any freight increases are absorbed (you don’t get re-billed if costs to ship go up after you have paid for your Club order!).
You get to choose:
(1) Amount of coffee (and inside the order the type of roast, whether whole or ground, whether gift wrapped, whether to you or to a friend);
(2) When the shipments start (the month you ordered or a month in the future);
(3) Which week of the month you want your coffee sent (do you want it the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th week); — very flexible — we try hard to serve all our customers’ needs.
