There is limited ocean view from the large lanai at the back of the house and much of that will depend on how clear the day is.
The property itself is an acre and you can walk to a higher slope and see the ocean. Beyond the obvious grass yard around the house, the property extends on the gravel in the back to the back rock wall -- at that point the ocean is viewable.
Also, you can take a walk down the street of the neighborhood which many people seem to enjoy and take more glimpses of ocean.
We are literally surrounded by ocean most everywhere you go so you are not going to miss looking at ocean. Some people won’t think of staying anywhere except where ocean is outside their door, and that is fine. Remember being right on the ocean is a much lower elevation which is hotter, it is also more humid, there are more crowds and noise next to the ocean, and even more insects.
