The short answer is “yes”. We have avoided putting in pay machines because about half our guests voluntarily bring soap and leave it for those who come after. We appreciate those who think to contribute. Many rentals do not have soap and want you to pony up $1.50 a load just to access the machines themselves -- that seems a lot of trouble and expense to us so we will continue on this way for the time being. If you have the time and think about it please do bring some soap but don’t go away with dirty clothes if you did not happen to. And thank you for thinking to ask!
